This collaboration between Andrea & Dave brings you a unique opportunity to explore our connection with the Five Elements and discover the powerful possibilities when our elements are in alignment.
An intentionally crafted yoga practice, while enveloped + supported by an immersive sound environment, we journey through the Five Elements. Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Aether are the universal, archetypal building blocks of our energy. When our elemental building blocks are balanced, we are in greater harmony within ourselves, and in healthy rhythm with the natural world around us.
The sound experience is a blend of live instrumentation, ambient tones, and vocals designed to facilitate our journey within — returning home to ourselves and to our true nature.
The yoga practice draws inspiration from Five Element Yoga® which weaves together knowledge from a range of diverse traditions and philosophies including yoga & the Chakra system, TCM, and Ayurveda.
No prior experience of any form of yoga is required to participate in this all-levels practice, which includes accessible, adaptable movement in the body, along with plenty of space for rest and integration.
This collaborative offering sets the conditions for participants to leave feeling grounded, creative, empowered, open, expansive — and realigned to the elemental rhythms of the natural world.
Andrea Evans (E-YRT 500) has been teaching various forms of yoga and meditation since 2014. She draws inspiration from her many incredible teachers across modalities from Vinyasa to Yin to Yoga for Trauma, Emotional Health and Healing. What has most shaped this offering: Andrea’s participation in Jennifer Reis’ Five Element Yoga® teacher training program, her experience becoming a certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide, and the discipline of daily self-practice. Rooted in a philosophy that we’re doing it “right” when we learn to meet ourselves and each other with kindness and curiosity, Andrea’s classes, workshops, and retreats are designed to support compassionate exploration and discovery.
